Experience

2+ years driving goods auto / Tata Ace or similar light commercial vehicle

Qualification

Valid driving licence with transport (LMV-TR / badge) endorsement; 8th pass minimum

Languages

Tamil; able to read addresses in English

Role Purpose

Move stock, materials and customer deliveries safely and on time between branches, warehouse, production unit, vendors and customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Transfer stock between T Nagar, Adyar, warehouse and the in-house production unit as scheduled
- Pick up materials from vendors, weavers and dyers; drop goods at courier and transport offices
- Deliver customer orders and alterations; collect signed delivery proof
- Load and unload carefully; keep sarees and garments covered and dry




- Verify goods against challan / DC before leaving and on handover
- Maintain trip log: date, route, kilometres, fuel filled
- Do daily vehicle checks (fuel, oil, tyres, brakes, lights); report issues and service due dates
- Keep RC, insurance, PUC and permit copies in the vehicle and current
- Follow traffic rules; no mobile phone use while driving

Requirements

- Positive knowledge of Chennai roads and areas
- Honest, punctual, physically fit

- Clean driving record

Key Performance Indicators

- On-time deliveries and transfers
- Zero goods loss, damage or mismatch
- Fuel efficiency; vehicle upkeep and document validity
- Zero traffic fines and accidents

Pay: ₹23,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
