Role purpose

Lead university-wide career services, employer engagement, internships and placement outcomes across schools and campuses.

Qualifications and experience

· Postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline; a bachelor’s degree with substantial relevant leadership experience may be considered.

· Significant progressive experience in university placements, career services, talent acquisition, employer relations or a closely related field, including experience leading teams and institution-wide or multi-site programmes.

· A strong record of developing employer partnerships and translating them into internships,



recruitment opportunities or other measurable career outcomes.

· Experience using placement, recruitment or student-outcome data to plan, monitor performance and improve services.

· Understanding of higher education environments, student development and the needs of employers across diverse disciplines.

· Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation and stakeholder-management skills; sound judgement, discretion and a commitment to fair and inclusive access.
