Furniture Designer

Role & responsibilities

- Develop furniture concepts based on market trends and customer requirements.

- Create sketches, CAD drawings, 3D models, and technical specifications.

- Collaborate with merchandising, sourcing, and production teams for product development.

- Research furniture trends, materials, finishes, and construction techniques.

- Review prototypes and samples to ensure design, quality, and functionality standards.

- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for material sourcing and product execution.

Preferred candidate profile

- Degree/Diploma in Furniture Design, Product Design, Interior Design, or related field.

- 38 years of experience in furniture design and development.

- Proficiency in Rhino (Rhinoceros 3D), AutoCAD, SketchUp, SolidWorks, or similar design software.

- Solid knowledge of furniture materials, manufacturing processes, and market trends.

- Creative mindset with excellent visualization and communication skills.

- Experience with rendering tools such as V-Ray, KeyShot, or Enscape will be an added advantage.
