As a Design Specialist Senior at Cyient, Inc., you will be a key contributor to complex design projects, leveraging your expertise to ensure high-quality and cutting-edge solutions. Job Responsibilities:**

- Lead and execute complex design projects from concept through completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications.

Experience on Comsof tool is required.

Develop detailed design documentation, including schematics, layouts, 3D models, and manufacturing drawings, utilizing industry-standard software.

Conduct design reviews, identify potential issues, and propose effective solutions to optimize product performance, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.

Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams to integrate design solutions and ensure seamless product development.

Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior design specialists, fostering their professional growth and development.

Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in design to continuously improve design methodologies and processes.

Contribute to the development and implementation of design standards, procedures, and tools within the organization.

Communicate design concepts, progress, and challenges effectively to stakeholders,



both technical and non-technical.

Job Qualifications:**

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.

8+ years of progressive experience in design engineering, preferably within a fast-paced and complex product development environment.

Proficiency in advanced CamSof and Marlin along with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo) for 3D modeling, surfacing, and assembly design.

Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials science, manufacturing processes, and DFM/DFA methodologies.

Demonstrated ability to lead design projects, solve complex technical problems, and drive innovation.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly.

Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and mentor junior colleagues.

Experience with PLM/PDM systems is highly desirable.

Roles and Responsibilities

Under general direction, responsible for complex tasks typically relating to network monitoring, operations, installation, and/or maintenance for local, off-site, and/or remote locations. May function as lead position in the absence of the Supervisor, but would not have ongoing lead responsibility. Typically requires four to eight years of network experience and continuing education network/telecom courses/technical seminars.
