: Design Manager – Textile Showroom

Location: Chennai, T Nagar

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the design team for textile and fashion products.
- Develop new designs, collections, and seasonal concepts.
- Strong experience in pattern making and pattern development is required.
- Create and modify patterns according to design requirements.
- Coordinate with designers, tailors, production teams, and vendors.
- Check fitting, measurements, patterns, and final product quality.
- Convert design concepts into practical and production-ready patterns.
- Guide junior designers and pattern makers.
- Conduct market and trend research to develop new styles.
- Ensure designs are completed within the planned timelines.
- Maintain proper records of designs, patterns, samples, and modifications.

Requirements

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in textile, fashion, garment, or showroom design.




- Strong hands-on experience in Pattern Making / Pattern Development.
- Good knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, measurements, and fitting.
- Experience in managing a design team.
- Good creativity, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple designs and collections simultaneously.
- Textile showroom or fashion retail experience will be an added advantage.

Salary ₹40,000 – ₹50,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.
