Role: Design Manager

Role Summary In one of our Reputed Client Organization has an Exciting opportunity for Design Manager role. Who will own technical direction, resource planning, design governance and cross-functional execution for attachment and fabricated-product development of the company. The role combines hands-on engineering judgement with team leadership, customer coordination and delivery accountability.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and allocate design work across projects, priorities and available engineering resources.
- Review and approve concepts, calculations, 3D models, manufacturing drawings, BOMs and engineering changes.
- Establish design standards, checking practices, drawing quality controls and documentation discipline.
- Guide the design of welded structures, sheet-metal parts, machined parts, fixtures and assemblies.
- Drive design optimization for manufacturability,



cost, weight, durability, serviceability and performance.
- Coordinate with customers, manufacturing, sourcing, quality, projects and suppliers to close technical issues.
- Lead design reviews, risk reviews, prototype readiness and technical problem-solving.
- Coach engineers, assess capability gaps and build succession and training plans.

- Advanced Autodesk Inventor capability
- Heavy fabrication and welded-structure design
- GD&T;, materials, manufacturing and machining knowledge
- Design calculations and structural mechanics
