Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer – Fire Fighting Systems with experience in fire protection system design, AutoCAD drafting, and fire alarm and detection systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with commercial and residential projects and a strong understanding of applicable NFPA, NBC, and IS standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop layouts for fire protection systems, including:
- Sprinkler systems
- Hydrant systems
- Suppression systems
- Pump rooms
- Fire alarm and detection systems
- Prepare detailed fire protection drawings using AutoCAD
- Perform hydraulic calculations and system sizing
- Prepare Material Takeoffs (MTO) and Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
- Ensure designs comply with applicable NFPA, NBC, and IS standards
- Prepare technical documentation, design reports, and as-built drawings
- Coordinate with consultants, architects, contractors, and internal project teams
- Support design reviews and approval processes
- Provide technical guidance and design support during project execution and site implementation
- Review drawings for accuracy,



feasibility, and compliance with project requirements

Eligibility & Requirements
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Fire & Safety Engineering, or a related discipline
- 1–5 years of relevant experience in fire fighting system design and drafting
- AutoCAD proficiency is mandatory
- Strong working knowledge of NFPA, NBC, and IS codes and standards
- Hands-on experience in Fire Alarm & Detection System Design is mandatory
- Experience with commercial and residential projects
- Knowledge of Revit / BIM will be an added advantage
- Good communication, coordination, and documentation skills
- Solid attention to detail

Salary
- Up to ₹50,000 per month
- Salary will be considered based on relevant experience and overall profile
- The provided budget indicates ₹50,000 for a candidate with around 5 years of experience
