Role & responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and monitor project-specific HSE policies, plans, and procedures.

- Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations, labour laws, and statutory requirements.

- Lead and supervise the safety team, including Safety Officers and Safety Engineers.

- Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, risk assessments, and hazard identification.

- Ensure implementation of Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Method Statements, Permit to Work (PTW), and toolbox talks.

- Monitor safety during civil construction, structural works, work at height, lifting operations, scaffolding, excavation, and electrical activities.

- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

- Conduct safety training,



emergency drills, and awareness programs for employees and subcontractors.

- Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with site safety standards.

- Prepare and maintain HSE reports, inspection records, incident reports, and safety documentation.

- Coordinate with project management, clients, consultants, and statutory authorities on safety matters.

- Monitor subcontractor safety performance and ensure adherence to approved HSE plans.

- Establish emergency response procedures and monitor fire prevention, first aid, and emergency preparedness.
