Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad for a Dental Eligibility Verification Executive. The role involves verifying patients’ dental insurance eligibility and benefits prior to appointments, using payer portals, carrier calls, and practice management software.

The executive will review coverage details, limitations, waiting periods, and pre-authorization requirements and accurately document this information in the client’s system. Daily tasks include coordinating with dental offices to clarify patient information, resolving eligibility-related issues, and maintaining up-to-date records to support clean claims and timely reimbursement. The role also includes working with other billing team members to ensure accurate verification workflows,



adhering to HIPAA and company policies, and meeting productivity and quality targets.

Qualifications

- Solid knowledge of dental insurance eligibility and benefits verification processes, including understanding of common plans, coverage rules, and pre-authorization requirements.
- Experience with dental practice management and billing software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental) and proficiency in working with payer portals and online verification tools.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, documentation, and record maintenance, with the ability to handle multiple patient accounts and deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with insurance carriers and dental practice staff, and for clearly documenting benefit information.
- Ability to analyze coverage information, identify discrepancies or missing data, and take initiative to resolve issues and support clean claim submission.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Basic understanding of revenue cycle management concepts, including the role of eligibility verification in reducing denials and improving collections.
- Commitment to confidentiality, HIPAA compliance, and secure handling of patient information.
- Prior experience in dental billing, insurance verification, or healthcare revenue cycle is preferred.
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; additional training or coursework in healthcare administration, billing, or insurance is an advantage.
