- Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible, punctual, and customer-friendly Delivery Executive to deliver food orders safely and on time. The candidate will be responsible for collecting orders from the restaurant, verifying order accuracy, delivering food to customers, handling payments when required, and maintaining professional customer service standards.

The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of local routes, safe driving habits, a valid driving licence where applicable, and a commitment to timely and hygienic food delivery.

- Key Responsibilities. Food Delivery Operations

- Collect packed food orders from the restaurant counter.
- Verify order numbers, customer details, delivery addresses, and order items before departure.
- Ensure food packaging is secure and suitable for transportation.
- Deliver orders within the expected delivery time.
- Follow the assigned delivery route and use navigation tools when necessary.
- Handle food packages carefully to prevent spills, damage, or tampering.
- Inform the supervisor promptly about delivery delays or difficulties.
- Return to the restaurant after completing assigned deliveries.

B. Customer Service
- Communicate politely and professionally with customers.
- Confirm delivery details when necessary.
- Hand over orders to the correct customer.
- Collect cash or process approved payment procedures where applicable.
- Provide receipts or confirm payment as required.
- Report customer complaints, incorrect orders, and delivery issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain a courteous attitude during every customer interaction.

C. Vehicle & Road Safety
- Hold a valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle, where required.
- Follow traffic rules and safe driving practices.
- Wear a helmet and other required protective equipment when riding a two-wheeler.




- Maintain the assigned vehicle in a clean and roadworthy condition.
- Check fuel, tyres, brakes, lights, and other essential vehicle components.
- Report accidents, vehicle breakdowns, or maintenance requirements immediately.
- Never compromise road safety to meet delivery time targets.

D. Food Safety & Hygiene
- Maintain personal hygiene and a neat appearance.
- Keep delivery bags clean and in good condition.
- Transport food securely and protect it from contamination.
- Follow restaurant food safety and delivery SOPs.
- Avoid opening sealed food packages.
- Report damaged packaging, missing items, or suspected tampering immediately.

E. Cash & Order Management
- Collect customer payments only as authorized.
- Maintain accurate records of cash collected and digital payment confirmations.
- Submit cash and delivery collections to the authorized cashier or supervisor.
- Report payment discrepancies immediately.
- Maintain delivery receipts and order records.
- Follow company procedures for cancelled, returned, or undelivered orders.

F. Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with kitchen staff, packing staff, cashiers, and restaurant supervisors.
- Update delivery status through the designated system or application.
- Report unavailable customer contacts or incorrect addresses.
- Follow assigned delivery schedules and shift timings.
- Assist with packing, order handover, or other reasonable restaurant duties when required and assigned.

3. Eligibility & Qualifications
- Minimum education: 10th pass preferred.
- Freshers may apply; delivery or restaurant experience is an advantage.
- Valid driving licence for the relevant vehicle, where applicable.




- Knowledge of local roads and nearby delivery areas.
- Basic communication skills in English and/or the local language.
- Ability to use a smartphone and navigation applications.
- Responsible, punctual, and customer-oriented.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

- Compliance with traffic and road safety rules.
- Delivery bag and vehicle cleanliness.
- Attendance and punctuality.
- Compliance with restaurant delivery SOPs.

6. Working Conditions
- Full-time restaurant delivery operations.
- Outdoor work in varying weather and traffic conditions.
- Rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Peak-hour and evening duties may be required.
- A company vehicle or personal vehicle may be used according to company policy.
