Rathinam Group of Institutions invites applications from accomplished academic and corporate leaders for the position of Dean – Industry Relations.

The Dean – Industry Relations will provide strategic leadership in building and strengthening industry–academia partnerships across the Group. The role will focus on creating meaningful corporate collaborations that translate into industry-integrated learning, internships, recruitment opportunities, industry-sponsored research, consultancy, Centres of Excellence, executive education and innovation initiatives. Key Responsibilities The selected leader will be responsible for:

- Building and strengthening strategic relationships with industries, corporates and qualified bodies.
- Developing industry-supported academic programmes and experiential learning initiatives.
- Facilitating internships, apprenticeships, live projects and placement partnerships.
- Creating opportunities for industry-sponsored research, consultancy and Centres of Excellence.
- Developing corporate training and executive education opportunities.
- Strengthening innovation, entrepreneurship and industry-linked initiatives.
- Building national and international industry collaborations.
- Establishing measurable KPIs and performance dashboards for industry engagement.
- Working closely with academic, placement, research, innovation and institutional leadership teams.

Who We Are Looking For We are looking for a dynamic leader with:
- A relevant postgraduate qualification from a recognised university/institution; Ph.D. preferred, particularly for an academic leadership role.
- 5+ years of relevant senior managerial, institutional or corporate leadership experience in industry engagement, corporate relations,



business development, higher education, consulting, strategic partnerships or allied areas.
- A proven track record of establishing and managing strategic industry and corporate partnerships.
- Demonstrated experience in industry-supported programmes, internships, apprenticeships, live projects, placements, consultancy, sponsored research or corporate training.
- Strong strategic planning, stakeholder management, negotiation, communication and team leadership capabilities.
- Familiarity with higher education quality and regulatory frameworks including UGC, AICTE, NAAC, NBA and NIRF, wherever applicable. Dean - Industry relations

Desirable Experience Candidates with the following will have an added advantage:
- Strong relationships with senior corporate leaders, CXOs and industry associations.
- Experience in Technology, IT/ITES, Engineering, Management or emerging technologies.
- Experience in revenue-generating partnerships, industry-funded research, Centres of Excellence, start-up incubation or executive education.
- Experience in international industry collaborations.
- Ability to establish and manage performance dashboards with measurable outcomes. Dean - Industry relations

Qualifications

A relevant postgraduate qualification from a recognized university or institution. A Ph.D. will be preferred, particularly for a position involving academic leadership.

1. Preferably 5+ years or more of relevant professional experience in a senior managerial, institutional or corporate leadership position handling industry engagement, corporate relations, business development, higher education, consulting, strategic partnerships or allied functions.
2. A proven track record of establishing and managing strategic partnerships with industry, corporate organizations, professional bodies and other relevant stakeholders.
3. Demonstrated ability to develop industry-supported academic programs, internships, apprenticeships, live projects, placements, consultancy, sponsored research or corporate training initiatives.
4. Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, communication, strategic planning and team leadership skills.
5. Familiarity with higher education quality assurance and applicable regulatory frameworks, including UGC and, where relevant, AICTE, NAAC, NBA and NIRF.

Established relationships with senior corporate leaders and industry associations. Experience in technology, IT/ITES, engineering, management, emerging technologies or other sectors relevant to Rathinam's academic portfolio.

Experience in revenue-generating partnerships, industry-funded research, Centre of Excellence, start-up incubation or executive education.

Experience in international industry collaborations

Ability to establish performance dashboards and measurable outcomes for industry engagement.
