About the Role -

We are looking for a driven and commercially minded– Deal Sourcing & Investment Origination to join our investment team in Bangalore.

The role will focus on identifying high quality investment opportunities, building relationships across the startup and investment ecosystem, and supporting the investment team through the early stages of the deal lifecycle.

The ideal candidate should have robust financial analysis skills, a good understanding of startups and investments, and the ability to build meaningful relationships with founders, investors, advisors, and ecosystem partners

Key Responsibilities -

- Identify and source quality investment opportunities aligned with the fund's investment thesis.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with founders, accelerators, incubators, investment bankers, advisors, and ecosystem partners.
- Connect with entrepreneurs to understand their businesses, growth plans, financials, and fundraising requirements.
- Conduct preliminary evaluation of business models, market opportunities, competitive landscape, and growth potential.
- Prepare investment teasers, screening notes,



and opportunity summaries for internal review.
- Conduct preliminary financial analysis and valuation assessment of potential investments.
- Track startup, sector, funding, and investment trends to identify emerging opportunities.
- Maintain and continuously update the investment CRM, deal pipeline, and sourcing database.
- Coordinate with investment bankers, advisors, founders, and other stakeholders during the sourcing and evaluation process.
- Support the investment team in preparing materials and presentations for the Investment Committee.
- Develop and expand the firm's network within the startup, VC, PE, AIF, and investment banking ecosystem.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.

Preferred Background - Candidates with experience in any of the following environments will be preferred:

- Alternative Investment Funds (AIF)
- Venture Capital
- Private Equity
- Investment Banking
- Corporate Venture Capital
- Investment Advisory / Transaction Advisory

Qualification -

- MBA – Finance preferred.
- CA / CFA Level I or II will be an advantage.
- 3–10 years of relevant experience in deal sourcing, investment research, investment banking, VC, PE, AIF, or related roles.
