About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and analytical Data Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong fundamentals in statistics, machine learning, data analysis, and Python, with the ability to work with real-world datasets and develop data-driven solutions.

You will work closely with engineering, product, and business teams to analyze data, build predictive models, generate insights, and contribute to AI/ML-driven products.

Key Responsibilities

- Collect, clean, preprocess, and analyze structured and unstructured datasets.
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and business insights.
- Develop, train, evaluate, and optimize machine learning models.
- Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to solve business and product problems.
- Perform feature engineering and feature selection to improve model performance.
- Work with supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms.
- Develop predictive, classification, regression, clustering, and recommendation models as required.
- Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and validation techniques.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, ML Engineers, Software Developers, and Product teams.
- Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights effectively.
- Work with large datasets using SQL and Python-based data processing tools.
- Deploy and monitor machine learning models in production environments, where applicable.
- Research and experiment with new machine learning, AI, and data science techniques.
- Document analysis, experiments, methodologies, and model results.
- Ensure data quality, reliability,



and consistency throughout the data science lifecycle.

Required Skills

- 1–5 years of hands-on experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Dataiku, and Denodo.
- Good knowledge of Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, and data visualization libraries such as Matplotlib/Seaborn.
- Strong understanding of statistics and probability.
- Good understanding of machine learning algorithms and concepts.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Knowledge of data preprocessing, feature engineering, model evaluation, and optimization.
- Experience working with real-world datasets and solving analytical problems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Positive to Have

- Experience with Deep Learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Knowledge of NLP, Generative AI, LLMs, or Computer Vision.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with ML deployment and MLOps concepts.
- Experience with Docker, Git, APIs, or CI/CD.
- Knowledge of Spark, Databricks, or other big-data technologies.
- Experience working with vector databases or RAG-based applications.
- Familiarity with ML experiment tracking and model monitoring tools.

Education

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
