Role Description The Data Manager role at Connectrz is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai.

The Data

Manager will oversee the end-to-end management of hiring and talent-related data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and accessibility across systems and reports. Daily responsibilities include collecting, cleaning, and validating data from multiple sources, maintaining databases and dashboards, and generating regular and ad hoc reports to support leadership and operational teams. The role involves monitoring data quality, defining data standards, and collaborating with talent acquisition, business operations, and technology teams to improve data workflows and support data-driven decision making.

Manager will also help identify trends and insights from data to optimize recruitment processes, workforce planning, and client delivery outcomes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong data management and database administration skills, including experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance.
- Candidates should possess skills in data analysis and reporting using tools such as Excel, SQL, BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and data visualization best practices.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in data quality assurance, including data validation, cleansing, standardization, and documentation of data definitions and procedures.
- Candidates should possess skills in working with HR, recruitment, or business operations data, with the ability to interpret hiring metrics, performance indicators, and workforce trends.
- Candidates should possess strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present insights clearly and partner with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field; relevant certifications in data analytics or BI tools are an advantage.
- Experience in a talent acquisition, HR analytics, or consulting environment, particularly within technology or GCC setups, is beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a fast-paced workplace, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high standards of confidentiality and data security.
