Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Data Engineer role based in Gurgaon.

The Data

Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines to support analytics and business intelligence initiatives.

Responsibilities include implementing and optimizing ETL processes, developing and maintaining data models, and managing data warehousing solutions to ensure data quality, reliability, and performance. The role involves collaborating with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into robust data solutions.

Engineer will also monitor data workflows, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to best practices for data governance and security.

Qualifications

- Solid data engineering skills, including experience with building and maintaining data pipelines and data integration solutions.
- Proficiency in data modeling and data warehousing to design productive, scalable, and well-structured data architectures.
- Hands-on experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes and tools for reliable data ingestion, transformation, and loading.
- Applied knowledge of data analytics concepts to enable reporting, dashboards, and insight generation for business stakeholders.
- Experience with SQL and at least one programming language commonly used in data engineering (such as Python or Scala).
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern data stack tools is an advantage.
- Understanding of data governance, data quality, and security best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
