Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer – AI/GenAI with robust experience in data engineering, Generative AI, Agentic AI, Machine Learning, and production-grade AI solutions.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading technical workstreams, mentoring engineers, and building end-to-end AI and data solutions using modern data and AI technologies.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead technical workstreams and mentor junior data engineers.
- Build and deploy Agentic AI, Generative AI, Machine Learning, and BI solutions.
- Develop production-grade solutions using Python and SQL.
- Design and implement RAG pipelines, embeddings, vector databases, context construction, and prompt engineering.
- Build AI features end-to-end, including evaluation, reliability, guardrails, and optimization of quality, latency, and cost.
- Work with modern frameworks and platforms such as Spark, Databricks, LangChain, Dask, Airflow, Dagster, and Kedro.
- Implement data security and governance controls including PII/PHI protection, authentication, and RBAC.
- Implement MLOps/LLMOps practices including CI/CD, automated AI/agent evaluation, and infrastructure automation.
- Work with evaluation and observability tools such as LangSmith, Opik, and Langfuse.
- Use Terraform and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure,



or GCP for infrastructure deployment.
- Drive adoption of software engineering best practices across the team.
- Independently own technical deliverables and ensure timely execution.

Must-Have Skills
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Data Engineering.
- Strong expertise in Python and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI / Agentic AI / Machine Learning.
- Strong understanding of RAG, embeddings, vector databases, prompt engineering, and context construction.
- Experience with Spark / PySpark / Databricks.
- Experience building and deploying AI/data solutions in production.
- Strong understanding of AI evaluation, reliability, guardrails, latency, and cost optimization.
- Knowledge of data security, PII/PHI, authentication, and RBAC.
- Experience with MLOps/LLMOps and CI/CD.
- Experience with at least one cloud platform: AWS / Azure / GCP.

Good to Have
- Scala or Java experience.
- Airflow / Dagster / Kedro / Dask.
- LangChain.
- LangSmith / Opik / Langfuse.
- Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with coding agents such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex.
- Experience leading technical teams or mentoring junior engineers.
