Role Purpose The Credit Manager will independently manage secured lending credit underwriting, including High Value (HV) credit cases, while ensuring sound credit judgement, robust risk assessment and portfolio quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct detailed credit appraisal and underwriting of secured lending proposals, including High Value cases.

- Analyse financial statements, income documents, banking behaviour, cash flows and business performance.

- Conduct financial ratio analysis, cash-flow assessment and credit-risk evaluation.

- Review and recommend credit proposals in line with company credit policies and risk frameworks.

- Evaluate customer profiles, collateral security, market intelligence and industry risks.

- Ensure quality portfolio growth while maintaining prudent risk standards.

- Identify credit risks and recommend appropriate risk-mitigation measures.

- Work closely with Sales, Operations, Legal, Technical and Risk teams.

- Ensure adherence to TAT, compliance requirements and audit standards.





- Contribute to strengthening underwriting standards and HV credit capability at the location.

Candidate Profile

- CA or MBA in Finance from a recognised institution.

- 56 years of relevant experience in secured credit underwriting.

- Proven experience handling High Value (HV) credit cases.

- Solid understanding of Retail and/or SME credit assessment.

- Strong experience in financial statement analysis, ratio analysis, cash-flow analysis and income assessment.

- Strong credit appraisal and risk assessment capability.

- Ability to independently evaluate complex and high-ticket credit proposals.

- Strong understanding of collateral assessment and secured lending.

- Strong decision-making, analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Good stakeholder management and communication skills.

- Strong attention to detail, risk awareness and ownership.
