Role Description The Creator role at blixshoot is a full-time, on-site position based in Hubli. In this role, the Creator will plan and shoot short-form video content, work directly with clients or subjects during filming, and ensure footage is captured according to creative and technical requirements. The Creator will collaborate with editors to streamline the 30-minute shoot–edit–deliver process, provide creative input on shot selection and story flow, and support basic editing tasks when needed.

Day-to-day responsibilities include operating cameras and lighting, setting up studio or on-location scenes, following content briefs, and maintaining equipment and production spaces.



The Creator will also contribute ideas for current concepts, trends, and formats that align with social media platforms and audience engagement goals.

Qualifications

- Ability to plan and execute short-form video shoots, including camera operation, basic lighting, and sound handling.
- Basic video editing skills and familiarity with common editing tools and workflows for quick-turnaround content.
- Understanding of social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, YouTube Shorts, TikTok) and current trends in reels and vertical video.
- Strong creative thinking, visual storytelling, and the ability to translate simple briefs into engaging content.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with clients, on-camera talent, and in-house team members.
- Strong time management skills and comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to work in office in Hubli and be available for full-time studio and location shoots.
- Prior experience in content creation, filmmaking, or digital media is preferred; a portfolio or sample work is highly beneficial.
