Description

Lead business consulting, solution definition, proposal development, and functional architecture for Sapiens-led engagements. Serve as the primary functional SME during pursuit, pre-sales, implementation, and delivery phases.

- 12–18 years in Insurance Technology and Core Insurance Platform implementations
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with Sapiens products (CoreSuite, IDIT, TIA Enterprise, Reinsurance, Digital Solutions, etc.)
- Deep domain expertise in either:
- Life & Annuities, or
- Property & Casualty Insurance

- Experience leading large transformation programs and client advisory engagements

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

- Client Advisory & Pre-Sales o Lead discovery workshops with insurers and business stakeholders.

o Understand client operating models, business processes, and transformation objectives.

o Act as trusted advisor to business executives and underwriting, policy administration, claims, and operations leaders.

o Support GTM initiatives, account planning, and Sapiens partnership growth.

- Solutioning & Proposal Support o Lead RFP/RFI responses.

o Define target business architecture and solution approach.

o Create effort estimations and functional work breakdown structures.

o Develop implementation roadmaps and transformation strategies.

o Contribute to commercial models and statement of work creation.

- Functional Architecture o Design end-to-end insurance business processes.

o Define product configuration strategy.

o Perform gap analysis between client requirements and Sapiens platform capabilities.

o Recommend process standardization and optimization opportunities.





o Define business rules, workflows, data requirements, and reporting requirements.

- Delivery Leadership o Lead functional streams in implementation programs.

o Govern requirements management and solution design.

o Mentor Business Analysts and Functional Consultants.

o Manage UAT planning and business change management activities.

o Ensure business outcomes are achieved during delivery.

- Practice Development o Build functional competency within Zensar.

o Create reusable accelerators, templates, asset repositories, and solution playbooks.

o Support training and certification programs.

Leadership Expectations

- Thought leader for Sapiens practice.
- Ability to independently engage CXO-level stakeholders.
- Lead client conversations from pursuit through delivery.
- Represent Zensar in joint Sapiens GTM initiatives.

Preferred Background

- Previous experience working directly with Sapiens, system integrators, or leading insurers.
- Experience in South African insurance market is highly desirable.
- Sapiens certifications preferred.
