Content Strategist - Group

Location: Mohali (on-site) · Reports to: Head of Brand Strategy & Growth · Experience:

5+ years

About Us

WE Excel has spent nearly two decades building mission-critical digital infrastructure for governments and enterprises: land records, registration systems, e-governance platforms and workforce solutions that millions of people use without ever knowing our name. Alongside it sits a younger company. iProfit is a unified ERP built for government organisations and IT companies.

The two companies share a standard of quality. They do not share a voice, and they shouldn't.

The Role

We're looking for a Content Strategist who can hold three brand voices at once and keep each one true to itself. You'll decide what each company says, how it says it and why, across LinkedIn, websites, product launches, sales collateral, campaigns and internal communications.

This isn't a copywriting role with a strategy title. You'll own the thinking behind the words. That includes the narrative architecture, the tone guidelines, the editorial calendar and the quality bar. You'll also write a lot of the work yourself.

The two voices you'll be responsible for

WE Excel is measured, confident and evidence-led. It speaks to government departments, public-sector leaders and large enterprises. It doesn't hype, and it doesn't apologise. It says what was built, at what scale, and what it changed.

iProfit is sharp and outcome-focused, with the precision of a product that has to justify itself in a demo. Its audiences are finance heads, administrators and IT-company leadership who want to know what the product does, what it replaces and what it saves.

Your job is to make sure someone reading the two would never mistake one for another, while still sensing they come from the same house.

What you'll do

· Define and document the voice, tone and messaging framework for each company, and keep those frameworks alive as the brands evolve.

· Build and run the editorial calendar across all three brands. Balance cadence against quality, and cut content that doesn't earn its place.

· Turn product and GTM direction from the Head of Product Marketing into transparent narratives, propositions and launch content.

· Work in parallel with the UI/UX Lead so that words and experience are designed together, not layered on at the end.

· Write briefs that graphic designers can execute without guesswork.

· Partner with Growth & Demand Generation on campaign messaging, landing pages and content that feeds the pipeline.

· Own website copy, case studies, leadership posts, announcements and sales collateral.

· Support internal communications, so the way the group speaks to its own people matches how it speaks to the world.

· Hold every piece to the group's quality framework before it goes out.

Who we're looking for

· 6–10 years in content strategy, brand writing or editorial leadership, ideally across B2B, B2G or technology.

· Proven work across more than one brand at the same time. That might have been at an agency, a multi-brand group or a portfolio company. You should be able to show us the difference in your own work.

· Comfort writing for serious, high-trust audiences like government, enterprise or finance, where credibility matters more than cleverness.

· The judgment to know when a piece needs restraint and when it needs warmth, and the maturity to defend that call.

· Strong editorial instincts. You cut, sharpen and push back, including on senior stakeholders when the work demands it.

· Fluency in English is essential. Working ability in Hindi or Punjabi is a real advantage.

· Familiarity with LinkedIn as a B2B channel, SEO fundamentals and working alongside designers and product teams.

What will set you apart

· A portfolio where the voices are genuinely distinct, not the same writer in three different fonts.

· Experience building a brand playbook or tone system that other people actually used.

· Exposure to public-sector, ERP/SaaS or agri audiences.

· A point of view on why most corporate content sounds the same, and what you do about it.

Why this role

You'll join a small, senior-led team at a company that is rebuilding how it presents itself, internally and externally. The brands are real, the work is substantial, and the people reviewing it care about getting it right. You'll have the room to set standards, not just follow them.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
