About Value Talent Advisory

Value Talent Advisory (VTA) works with growing organisations to build the people, leadership and organisational capabilities they need to scale. Our work spans organisation design, talent management, leadership development, organisational effectiveness, culture and employee experience.

We are looking for a Consultant to work closely with the founder across client projects and the development of VTA. This is a varied, hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving client problems, producing high-quality work and taking ownership in a growing advisory firm.

About the role

This role offers the prospect to be part of a growing advisory practice and see how a consulting business is built, not just how client projects are delivered. You’ll work hands-on across business development, research, client assignments and operations, gaining a broad view of what it takes to grow a practice. It will suit someone who is curious, takes initiative and wants to learn and grow alongside the organisation.

What you’ll do

Business development and brand building

- Support personalised outreach to prospective clients through email and LinkedIn.
- Help keep VTA’s online presence active through regular posts, research and relevant insights.
- Research organisations, industries and people-related trends relevant to VTA’s offerings and target clients.
- Contribute to proposals, approach notes and other business development material.
- Help plan and organise webinars, roundtables and other events.

Client delivery

- Develop high-quality client materials, including presentations, reports, pre-reads and post-session documents.
- Support the design of solutions across organisation development, talent management, leadership development and organisational effectiveness.
- Collate, analyse and present data to support project insights and recommendations.




- Facilitate or support workshops, focus group discussions and client conversations.

Project and business operations

- Manage project plans, timelines, follow-ups and deliverable coordination.
- Support calendar management and meeting logistics.
- Assist with invoicing, billing and other administrative requirements.

What we’re looking for
- An MBA in Human Resources or a Master’s degree in Psychology.
- 5–7 years of relevant experience, ideally in HR or organisation consulting.
- Experience leading consulting projects end to end in areas such as organisation development, talent management, leadership development or organisational effectiveness.
- Experience designing solutions and translating client needs into practical recommendations.
- Experience contributing to a research paper, publication or substantial research-led output.
- The ability to manage projects independently, with minimal supervision.
- Experience supporting business development through outreach, proposals or approach notes.
- Confidence in facilitating workshops, focus groups and client conversations.
- Strong written communication and presentation skills.
