About the Job

We are looking for a responsible, hardworking and experienced Construction Site Supervisor for our school building construction project in Patiala, Punjab.

The successful candidate will supervise day-to-day construction activities, coordinate with contractors and labour teams, monitor construction quality, manage materials and ensure that work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications and project schedules.

We are looking for someone who understands practical civil construction and can independently manage site activities with minimum supervision.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily construction activities, including excavation, foundation, RCC work, shuttering, reinforcement, brickwork, plastering, flooring and finishing.
- Read and understand civil engineering drawings and construction layouts.
- Coordinate with civil contractors, subcontractors, masons, carpenters, bar benders and other site workers.
- Monitor labour attendance, productivity and daily work progress.
- Check construction quality and ensure work follows approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate the timely procurement, receipt, storage and consumption of construction materials.
- Maintain daily site reports, labour records, material registers and progress updates.
- Monitor concrete pouring, reinforcement placement, shuttering and other critical construction activities.
- Coordinate with the project engineer, architect, contractors and management.
- Identify construction delays, site issues and material shortages and report them promptly.
- Ensure proper housekeeping,



safe working practices and use of personal protective equipment.
- Assist in measurements, quantity verification, billing checks and contractor work verification.
- Help complete the project within the approved timeline and budget.

Eligibility and Requirements
- Diploma or ITI in Civil Engineering, or a relevant civil construction qualification; candidates with strong practical experience may also be considered.
- Ideally 2–5 years of experience in building construction.
- Experience in RCC framed structures, institutional buildings, schools, commercial buildings or residential projects will be preferred.
- Ability to read civil drawings and understand construction measurements.
- Practical knowledge of construction materials, labour management and site execution.
- Basic knowledge of material estimation, quantity measurement and site documentation.
- Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work full-time at the construction site in Patiala.
