Role Description The Community Relations Specialist is a part-time, on-site role based at Pastel in Bandra, Mumbai. This role focuses on building and maintaining positive relationships with local residents, businesses, and community organizations to enhance the hotel’s presence and reputation.

Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating community outreach initiatives, supporting local partnerships, and representing the hotel at neighborhood events and meetings. The specialist will assist in planning and executing community-focused events at the hotel,



creating clear communications and promotional materials, and gathering feedback to inform future initiatives. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams to align community activities with the hotel’s brand and guest experience goals.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated skills in Community Relations and Community Engagement to build strong local partnerships and connections.
- Experience in Community Outreach and Communication to represent the hotel effectively in external interactions.
- Proficiency in Event Planning to support and coordinate community events and activities.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in local languages is an advantage.
- Ability to work in office in Mumbai, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience in hospitality, public relations, or community development is preferred.
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is beneficial.
