Job Title: Commis 3 Chef / Kitchen Associate

Job Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking Commis 3 Chef to join our kitchen team. This is an entry-level position perfect for culinary graduates or individuals looking to build a career in a professional kitchen. You will primarily be responsible for mise en place (food prep), basic cooking assembly, and ensuring the kitchen maintains top-tier hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Complete daily prep work including washing, peeling, chopping vegetables, and portioning meats.
- Assist senior chefs in setting up kitchen stations and preparing basic sauces, bases, or doughs.
- Properly label, store, and rotate food stock utilizing the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) method.
- Maintain excellent kitchen sanitation by cleaning workstations, utensils, and heavy machinery.
- Follow exact recipes, instructions,



and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Requirements & Skills:

- Experience: 0 to 1 year of experience in a commercial kitchen, restaurant, or hotel. Freshers with formal training are highly welcome.
- Education: Certificate or Diploma in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management is a strong asset.
- Basic knife skills and familiarity with standard kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-temperature, fast-paced environment.
- Good listening skills and willingness to take direction from senior culinary staff.
