Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Commercial Insurance Agent role based in Bengaluru.

The Commercial Insurance

Agent will identify client needs, recommend appropriate business insurance products, and manage end-to-end policy placement and servicing. Daily responsibilities include consulting with business clients, preparing quotes, explaining coverage options and exclusions, and supporting clients through underwriting and claims processes. The role involves building and maintaining a pipeline of prospects, conducting follow-ups, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver timely,



accurate solutions. The agent will also stay current on industry developments, regulatory requirements, and emerging risks to provide informed advice to clients.

Qualifications

- Solid knowledge of Insurance and Casualty Insurance, with the ability to explain coverage options clearly and accurately.
- Experience in Insurance Brokerage, including policy sourcing, comparison, and placement for commercial clients.
- Proven Sales skills, with a track record of prospecting, closing deals, and meeting or exceeding targets.
- Excellent Customer Service skills, including responsiveness, empathy, and conflict resolution.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to analyze client risk profiles and recommend suitable business insurance solutions.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with strong attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred; relevant certifications in insurance are an advantage.
- Prior experience in commercial or corporate insurance is highly beneficial.
