Job Summary:

Shreedhar Instruments is looking for an experienced Commercial & Operations Lead to lead the Commercial function and oversee a team of 7–10 commercial professionals. The role will be responsible for managing end-to-end commercial operations including Purchase Order verification, order processing, invoicing, customer collections, accounts receivables, commercial documentation, MIS reporting, forecasting and statutory compliance.

The ideal candidate should have strong commercial acumen, leadership capabilities, excellent customer communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with Sales, Service, Finance, Purchase and Management teams.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead and manage the Commercial Department, providing direction, supervision and support to a team of 7–10 commercial professionals.

· Manage commercial operations related to customer orders, Purchase Orders, invoicing, payments and receivables.

· Review and verify Purchase Orders with respect to pricing, payment terms, taxes, delivery conditions and other commercial requirements.

· Ensure accurate and timely invoicing and coordinate with relevant internal teams for smooth order execution.

· Monitor Customer Account Receivables and outstanding payments and ensure timely follow-up and collection.

· Prepare invoice, payment and receivables forecasts and drive the team towards achieving planned targets.

· Handle and resolve customer queries related to commercial matters, including orders, invoices, payments, taxation and documentation.

· Maintain accurate commercial records, customer documentation and transaction-related data.





· Prepare and present high-level MIS reports covering invoicing, collections, receivables, ageing, order status and other commercial KPIs.

· Ensure proper compliance with GST, SEZ and other applicable commercial/statutory norms.

· Coordinate closely with Sales, Service, Finance, Purchase and Management for seamless business operations.

· Identify commercial bottlenecks and implement process improvements and stronger commercial controls.

· Track departmental performance against targets and take appropriate corrective and follow-up actions.

· Support Management with commercial analysis, forecasting and decision-making.

The ideal candidate should have:

· 7–10 years of relevant commercial experience, preferably in Sales & Service, Trading, Engineering, Analytical Instruments or Industrial Products.

· Proven experience in leading a team of 7–10 commercial professionals.

· Solid knowledge of PO verification, invoicing, collections and Accounts Receivables.

· Hands-on experience with GST and SEZ norms.

· Strong customer communication and commercial query-resolution skills.

· Experience in MIS preparation, forecasting and commercial reporting.

· Excellent coordination skills across Sales, Service, Finance, Purchase and Management.

· Strong analytical, follow-up, negotiation and problem-solving abilities.

· Good working knowledge of MS Excel and commercial reporting tools.

· Experience with Tally / SAP Business One would be an advantage.
