Role Description This is a full-time, in office role for a Collections Specialist based in Gurugram.

The Collections

Specialist will manage and monitor outstanding accounts, follow up with customers to ensure timely cash collection, and negotiate payment plans where needed. The role involves handling inbound and outbound calls, addressing customer queries related to payments, and documenting all collection activities in internal systems. The specialist will work closely with finance and customer service teams to reconcile accounts,



minimize delinquencies, and support accurate reporting. The position also requires adherence to internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and maintaining a professional, customer-focused approach in all interactions.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Debt Collection and Cash Collection skills, including experience managing overdue accounts and negotiating payment solutions.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to handle calls, resolve queries, and maintain positive customer relationships.
- Candidates should possess a good understanding of Finance concepts related to invoicing, reconciliations, and payment tracking.
- Candidates should possess solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in MS Excel and basic CRM/collection tools, along with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in commerce, finance, business, or a related field; prior experience in collections, banking, or NBFC environments is preferred.
- Candidates should possess the ability to work in a target-driven environment, maintain confidentiality, and adhere to compliance and ethical standards.
