KLH University is seeking an experienced and passionate Coding Instructor to teach and mentor B.Tech students, focusing on enhancing their coding skills to the 3-star and 4-star level. The ideal candidate will have a strong programming background, a proven track record in coding competitions, and the ability to inspire and guide advanced students.

Responsibilities:

- Deliver high-quality instruction on advanced coding concepts and techniques.
- Provide personalized mentorship and feedback to help students reach the 3-star and 4-star coding proficiency.
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans, tutorials, and coding challenges tailored to B.Tech students.
- Ensure the curriculum stays current with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Design and administer assessments to evaluate students' progress and proficiency.
- Offer detailed feedback and improvement suggestions.
- Track and report on students' performance and milestones.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive learning environment within the university.
- Organize and participate in coding competitions, hackathons, and other events to enhance learning.
- Encourage peer-to-peer learning and knowledge sharing among students.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in coding and teaching methodologies.
- Attend professional development workshops and conferences.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the teaching process.

Qualifications:

- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or higher is preferred.
- Experience:
- Proven experience as a coder with a track record of solving complex coding problems, preferably in competitive programming.
- Prior teaching or mentoring experience, especially with B.Tech students, is highly desirable.

Skills:

- Strong hands-on programming skills in C++ / Java / Python.
- Excellent knowledge of Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA) and Advanced DSA.




- Strong dynamic/live coding ability – should be capable of solving unseen coding problems during the class.
- Strong problem-solving, logical thinking, debugging, and code-optimization skills.
- CodeChef rating: Minimum 3-Star or above – preferred/expected.
- Strong and active LeetCode profile with good contest participation and Medium/Hard problem-solving ability.
- Candidates with strong Codeforces / competitive-programming profiles will have an added advantage.
- Should be proficient in Arrays, Strings, Recursion, Backtracking, Linked Lists, Stacks, Queues, Trees, BST, Heaps, Hashing, Graphs, Greedy Algorithms, Dynamic Programming, Tries, Bit Manipulation, Sliding Window, Two Pointers, DSU, and Advanced Graph Algorithms.
- Should be able to explain Brute Force → Optimized Approach, including Time and Space Complexity.
- Should have the ability to train students for product-based company coding assessments and technical interviews.
- Experience in conducting coding contests, coding assessments, mock coding interviews, and company-specific coding training is preferred.
- Good communication, classroom delivery, and student-mentoring skills are required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain complex concepts in a explicit and concise manner.
- Patience and dedication to helping students succeed.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with competitive programming and knowledge of coding platforms like Codechef, Codeforces, LeetCode, and HackerRank etc…
- Candidates should share their LeetCode, CodeChef, and Codeforces profile links for technical verification.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Certification in teaching or education.
- Experience with online teaching platforms and tools.
