Role & responsibilities

- Install, configure, administer, and maintain Oracle databases in cloud environments, preferably Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

- Manage Oracle Autonomous Database, backup and recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.

- Monitor database performance and perform SQL tuning and query optimization.

- Implement database security, user access management, patching, and upgrades.

- Troubleshoot database issues and ensure high availability, reliability, and data integrity.

- Support database migration from on-premises environments to the cloud.

- Automate routine database administration tasks using scripts.

Required Skills:

- Robust experience in Oracle Database administration (Oracle 12c/19c or later).

- Hands-on knowledge of OCI database services and cloud infrastructure.

- Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, performance tuning, RMAN, and Data Guard.

- Knowledge of database backup, recovery, monitoring, and disaster recovery.

- Experience with Linux/Unix commands and shell scripting.

- Understanding of cloud security, networking, and high-availability concepts.
