& Requirements

BSc in Clinical Psychology is mandatory. Candidates must have a relevant Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology or equivalent postgraduate qualification, as applicable to the licensing requirements. Minimum 5+ years of relevant clinical experience as a Clinical Psychologist. Must have strong clinical experience in assessing and treating both pediatric and adult patients.

Experience in conducting comprehensive psychological assessments, clinical interviews, diagnosis, and treatment planning. Strong experience in providing evidence-based psychological interventions and psychotherapy.

Experience in managing pediatric cases such as: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) ADHD Developmental and behavioral disorders Anxiety and mood-related concerns Learning and emotional difficulties Behavioral and adjustment issues Experience in treating adult patients with: Anxiety and depressive disorders Stress and adjustment difficulties Trauma-related concerns Mood and behavioral disorders Relationship and psychosocial difficulties Experience with standardized psychological assessment tools and preparation of comprehensive clinical reports. Ability to develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' clinical needs. Arabic-speaking candidates / Arabic Nationals are preferred.

Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams. GCC/Middle East experience and relevant licensing eligibility will be an added advantage.



Candidates should be willing to relocate to Oman and work at Aster Hospital.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct psychological assessments and clinical evaluations for pediatric and adult patients. Identify psychological, emotional, behavioral, and developmental concerns. Develop and implement individualized treatment and psychotherapy plans.

Provide individual and family counselling where clinically appropriate. Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as required. Conduct appropriate psychological testing and prepare detailed assessment reports.

Provide psychoeducation and guidance to patients and their families. Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team. Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records.

Ensure compliance with skilled standards, hospital policies, and applicable clinical guidelines.
