Role Description The Clinical MBBS Doctor role at MediVaah is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru South. The doctor will provide comprehensive clinical consultations, perform physical examinations, prescribe appropriate investigations, and develop evidence-based treatment plans for patients seen through the MediVaah platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include documenting clinical findings in an organized manner, maintaining accurate medical records, coordinating follow-up care, and ensuring continuity of care in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
The doctor will counsel patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive measures, while adhering to ethical and regulatory standards. The role also involves participating in quality improvement initiatives, supporting telephonic or app-based communication when necessary, and contributing to a positive patient experience.
Qualifications
- Recognized MBBS degree from an accredited institution and valid registration with the appropriate Medical Council (e.g., KMC or equivalent).
- Solid clinical skills in history-taking, physical examination, differential diagnosis, and formulation of treatment plans in general medicine or relevant specialties.
- Ability to manage common acute and chronic conditions, interpret basic lab reports and imaging, and escalate or refer appropriately when needed.
- Robust communication skills for clear patient education, counseling, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to ethical medical practice, patient safety, and adherence to national clinical guidelines and regulatory norms.
- Comfort with using digital tools, mobile apps, and electronic documentation systems for scheduling, record-keeping, and follow-up.
- Demonstrated empathy, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity in patient interactions, with a focus on building trust in community settings.
- Willingness to work on-site in Bengaluru South and engage with home-care or community-based visits as required by the platform.
- Prior experience in clinical practice, primary care, or community health is preferred; experience with telemedicine or digital health platforms is an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently while aligning with MediVaah’s protocols, quality standards, and patient-centric approach.
