Client Engagement Specialist – Corporate & Commercial Finance

Location: India | UAE | KSA

Employment Type: Full-time The Role

As a Client Engagement Specialist, you will be the main point of contact for our corporate and commercial clients. You will use your banking experience to understand each client's financing needs, structure the right solution and support them through to successful completion.

Key Responsibilities

Client Acquisition and Relationship Management

- Identify and approach corporate and commercial clients through networking, referrals, LinkedIn and direct outreach
- Build long-term, trusted relationships with business owners, CFOs and finance teams
- Understand each client's business model, cash flow and funding requirements
- Find opportunities to offer additional services to existing clients

Credit Assessment and Deal Structuring

- Review financial statements, bank statements, AECB reports and business plans to assess creditworthiness
- Structure suitable financing, including term loans, working capital lines, trade finance, invoice discounting and asset-backed lending
- Prepare credit proposals and client presentations

Client Onboarding and Documentation

- Collect and review KYC and financial documents, including trade licence, audited financials, VAT and corporate tax filings, and bank statements
- Make sure client files are complete, accurate and ready for submission
- Follow KYC, AML and internal compliance procedures

Pipeline and Reporting

- Keep accurate pipeline records and client notes in the CRM




- Prepare weekly reports on leads, approvals, disbursements and revenue
- Share market insights and client feedback with management

Requirements

- 3–5+ years of experience in banking, preferably in Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking, SME Banking or Business Banking
- Strong understanding of credit analysis, financial statements and corporate lending products
- An established network of business clients and banking contacts in the UAE
- Good knowledge of UAE lending practices, credit policies and documentation requirements
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, target-driven and comfortable managing multiple clients at once
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Business or a related field
- Fluent in English; Arabic is a robust advantage
- Valid UAE driving licence preferred
