Key Responsibilities of a Civil Site Engineer

1. Site Supervision

- Supervise daily construction activities.

- Monitor workers, subcontractors, and equipment.

- Ensure work is carried out according to the project schedule.

1. Drawing and Layout

- Read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.

- Set out building layouts, columns, beams, and foundations.

- Check dimensions, levels, alignment, and measurements.

1. Quality Control

- Ensure construction materials meet the required standards.

- Check reinforcement steel, shuttering, concrete, masonry, and plastering.

- Conduct or coordinate concrete slump tests and cube tests.

- Ensure construction follows project specifications.

1. Construction Work Execution

- Supervise excavation and foundation work.

- Monitor footing, column, beam, and slab construction.

- Supervise brickwork, blockwork, plastering, flooring, and finishing.

- Coordinate concrete pouring and curing activities.

1. Quantity Calculation

- Calculate quantities of concrete, steel,



cement, sand, and aggregates.

- Prepare material requirements and estimates.

- Measure completed work and assist with billing.

1. Safety Management

- Ensure workers use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

- Follow construction safety procedures.

- Identify hazards and help prevent accidents.

1. Labour and Material Management

- Allocate daily tasks to workers.

- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and project managers.

- Ensure materials and equipment are available when needed.

1. Reporting and Documentation

- Prepare daily progress reports.

- Maintain site records, inspection reports, and material registers.

- Report delays, technical problems, and variations to the project manager.

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
