A civil engineer in construction manages the planning, design, and physical execution of infrastructure projects to ensure they are safe, functional, and built within time and budget limits

Site Supervision & Execution: Oversee day-to-day construction operations, allot work to laborers, and ensure structures are built according to approved design specifications and drawings.

Perform surveying, plotting lines, establishing levels, and marking out positions for above- and below-ground infrastructure.

Monitor material inventory, estimate resource needs, minimize wastage, and supervise equipment deployment.

Documentation & Reporting: Maintain daily progress reports (DPR), site logs, material consumption records, and assist with measurements for billing and subcontractor invoices.





Act as the communication bridge between upper management, architects, structural consultants, contractors, and on-ground laborers.

- A bachelors degree in civil engineering from an accredited university or college.
- 4-5 years of experience as a site engineer, civil engineer or an equivalent role.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills.
- Robust problem-solving and decision-making abilities with effective communication.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results.
