Role Description The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for defining and executing WhiterApps’ overall technology vision and strategy. The CTO oversees software development across mobile and web projects, ensuring scalable architectures, robust security, and consistent technical standards.

This role collaborates with product, design, marketing, and client teams to align technical solutions with business objectives and to guide the development of new products and services. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading and mentoring engineering teams, managing technology roadmaps, reviewing key architectural decisions, and optimizing development processes and tooling. The CTO also evaluates emerging technologies, supports pre-sales and client consultations,



and ensures reliable delivery of technology services that meet performance, budget, and timeline expectations.

Qualifications

- Solid proficiency in Software Development, including modern frameworks, cloud platforms, and best practices for mobile and web applications.
- Demonstrated experience in Project Management, with the ability to oversee multiple teams, manage timelines and budgets, and ensure high-quality delivery.
- Proven capability in IT Strategy and Technology Consulting, aligning technical initiatives with business goals and advising clients on digital transformation.
- Expertise in Architecture, designing scalable, secure, and maintainable systems for complex, multi-tenant, or enterprise environments.
- Background in Product Development, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements, prioritize features, and guide products from concept to launch.
- Previous leadership experience in a senior technology role, preferably in a software development or digital services company.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
- Experience with agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience working in remote, distributed teams and the ability to build inclusive, high-performance engineering cultures.
