Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chief Financial Officer role based in Kolkata. The CFO will lead the company’s financial strategy, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning to support growth in the competitive kids’ apparel market.

Day-to-day responsibilities include managing financial reporting and statutory compliance, monitoring cash flow, reviewing financial statements, and providing analytical insights to the board for decision-making. The role will supervise finance and accounts teams,



establish robust internal controls, manage banking and investor relationships, and drive cost optimization while ensuring ethical and compliant financial practices. The CFO will collaborate closely with leadership across manufacturing, design, sales, and supply chain to align financial objectives with operational and strategic goals.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Finance with proven expertise in Financial Planning and strategy development.
- Ability to prepare, analyze, and interpret Financial Statements and Financial Reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent Analytical Skills to assess performance, manage risk, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Professional qualification such as CA, CMA, MBA in Finance, or equivalent.
- Extensive experience (preferably 10+ years) in senior finance leadership roles, ideally in apparel, retail, manufacturing, or FMCG sectors.
- Demonstrated experience in budgeting, cost control, treasury management, and compliance with Indian accounting and tax regulations.
- Strong leadership, team management, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Kolkata and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
