Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Qualification

Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory. MBA (Finance), CMA, or equivalent skilled qualification shall be an added advantage.

Job Purpose To provide strategic financial leadership to the organization with overall responsibility for financial planning, budgeting, accounting, treasury, taxation, corporate finance, statutory compliance, internal controls, risk management, investor relations, and Profit & Loss (P&L;) performance. The incumbent shall support the Management in driving sustainable business growth, financial discipline, and value creation.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Leadership

- Provide strategic direction for the Company's finance and accounting functions.
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Advise the CMD and Board on financial planning, investments, risk management, and capital allocation.
- Drive financial governance, operational excellence, and value creation.

Financial Planning & Commercial Management

- Lead budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, MIS, and business performance reviews.
- Monitor revenue, profitability, cash flow, working capital, and overall financial performance.
- Drive cost optimization and improve financial efficiency across the organization.
- Evaluate financial viability of projects, investments, acquisitions, and business opportunities.

Treasury, Taxation & Compliance

- Oversee treasury operations, banking relationships, cash management, and fund mobilization.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Accounting Standards, Companies Act, Income Tax, GST, FEMA, RBI, and other statutory requirements.
- Manage audits, taxation matters, financial reporting, and regulatory filings.




- Establish robust internal controls and financial governance frameworks.

Business & Stakeholder Management

- Collaborate with business heads to support strategic decision-making and business growth.
- Liaise with banks, financial institutions, statutory authorities, auditors, investors, and other stakeholders.
- Lead financial negotiations, project funding, and corporate finance initiatives.

Leadership

- Lead the Finance and Accounts function with a focus on performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Develop organizational capability through mentoring, succession planning, and employee development.
- Promote digital transformation and ERP-based financial management systems.

Desired Profile A seasoned finance leader with extensive experience in corporate finance, accounting, treasury, taxation, budgeting, financial planning, project finance, and strategic business management. The candidate should possess strong commercial acumen, leadership capabilities, and proven expertise in managing finance functions for large organizations in Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, EPC, Infrastructure, Power, Mining, or related industries. Experience with SAP/ERP systems, project finance, and fund raising will be an added advantage.
