Position Summary :

The CEO will provide strategic, scientific, operational, financial, and business leadership to exRNA Therapeutics Ltd. The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership capabilities with an understanding of biotechnology, drug discovery/development, RNA therapeutics, translational research, regulatory pathways, and business development. The CEO will work closely with the Board, scientific leadership, R&D; teams, regulatory experts, investors, strategic partners, and external stakeholders to establish exRNA Therapeutics as a high-impact biotechnology organization.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Strategic Leadership -

- Develop and execute the company's short-term and long-term business and scientific strategy.
- Translate the company's scientific vision into clear organizational objectives, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
- Establish strategic priorities across R&D;, clinical development, regulatory affairs, business development and commercialization.

2. Scientific & Translational Leadership -

- Provide strategic oversight of the company's exRNA/RNA therapeutic and diagnostic programs.




- Work closely with scientific and R&D; leadership to establish development priorities and product pipelines.
- Guide the transition of promising research programs from discovery through preclinical and clinical development.
- Evaluate scientific opportunities, technology platforms, intellectual property, and potential therapeutic applications.

3. R&D; and Product Development -

- Oversee the development and prioritization of the company's product pipeline.
- Ensure alignment between discovery, preclinical, translational, clinical, CMC, and regulatory activities.
- Establish appropriate development milestones, timelines, budgets, and performance indicators.
- Identify opportunities for platform expansion, technology licensing, co-development, and strategic collaborations.

4. Business Development & Strategic Partnerships-

- Identify and develop strategic partnerships with pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology companies, research institutions, hospitals, and technology organizations.
- Lead negotiations for licensing, co-development, research collaborations, technology transfer, and strategic alliances.
- Develop new business opportunities and revenue-generating initiatives.
- Represent the company at major industry, scientific, investor, and business forums.

5. Financial & Operational Management -

- Own overall business performance, financial sustainability, and resource allocation.
- Develop annual operating plans, budgets, and growth targets in coordination with leadership teams.
- Ensure efficient utilization of financial, scientific, technological, and human resources.
- Monitor organizational KPIs and take corrective actions where required.
- Maintain strong governance,



risk management, compliance, and operational discipline.

6. Leadership & Talent Development -

- Build and lead a high-performing multidisciplinary leadership team.
- Attract, retain, and develop senior scientific, regulatory, clinical, commercial, and operational talent.
- Establish clear accountability and performance expectations across functions.
- Mentor senior leaders and create a culture of ownership, collaboration, and innovation.

Required Qualifications & Experience :

- Advanced degree in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Medicine, Bioengineering, or a related discipline
- Typically, 15+ years of relevant experience with significant leadership experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, life sciences, drug discovery, therapeutics, or a related sector.
- Demonstrated experience in senior executive/CEO/Business Unit Head/VP/Director level leadership.
- Strong understanding of RNA biology, RNA therapeutics, extracellular RNA, molecular biology, drug discovery, translational research, or related technology platforms is highly desirable.
- Experience taking scientific programs from discovery/preclinical stages toward clinical development or commercialization will be strongly preferred.
