Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Chief Engineer – Civil to lead and manage civil and structural engineering activities for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and industrial projects.

The candidate should have strong experience in civil and structural design, foundation design, RCC and steel structures, and should be comfortable working in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead civil and structural engineering design activities for onshore and offshore Oil & Gas projects.

- Design and review RCC and steel structures for industrial facilities.

- Design foundations for equipment such as vessels, pumps, tanks, and other industrial equipment.

- Prepare and review structural calculations, design reports, drawings, and engineering documents.

- Perform structural analysis and 3D modelling using STAAD Pro.

- Prepare and review design spreadsheets and engineering calculations.

- Check and approve civil/structural drawings, calculations, and technical documents.

- Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation, and other engineering disciplines.

- Ensure designs comply with applicable industry standards, codes, specifications, and regulations.

- Provide technical guidance and solutions for complex civil and structural engineering issues.





- Stay updated with modern civil/structural engineering practices and apply suitable design methodologies.

- Support project execution by providing technical inputs and resolving design-related issues.

- Lead, guide, and mentor Engineers, Senior Engineers, and Principal Engineers.

- Ensure timely completion and quality of engineering deliverables.

Required Technical Skills

- Robust experience in Civil & Structural Design.

- Experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Hydrocarbon / EPC projects.

- Good knowledge of RCC and structural steel design.

- Experience in equipment foundation design.

- Hands-on experience with STAAD Pro for structural analysis and modelling.

- Ability to understand and review engineering drawings and structural calculations.

- Good knowledge of relevant civil/structural codes, standards, and project specifications.

- Experience working with multiple engineering disciplines.

Software Skills

- STAAD Pro – Mandatory

- MS Office – Good working knowledge

Candidate Profile

- 15–20 years of relevant experience in Civil & Structural Engineering.

- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute.

- Experience in Oil & Gas, Hydrocarbon Consulting, Petrochemical, or EPC Design Engineering.





- Strong leadership and team-management skills.

- Good English communication skills – written and spoken.

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

- Comfortable working in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment.

- Proven experience in managing and guiding engineering teams.
