Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chef role in the continental cooking department, located in Kakori. The Chef will plan and prepare a variety of continental dishes, ensuring consistent quality, taste, and presentation according to the hotel’s standards. Daily tasks include organizing kitchen stations, overseeing food preparation and cooking, managing stock and ingredients, and maintaining strict hygiene and safety practices.

The role also involves coordinating with the kitchen team, supporting menu development,



and collaborating with service staff to ensure timely and efficient food service. The Chef is expected to follow company policies, optimize kitchen workflows, and contribute to a positive, respectful working environment.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in continental cuisine preparation, cooking techniques, and plate presentation.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations, and proper kitchen sanitation practices.
- Experience in menu planning, portion control, and basic cost awareness for ingredients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen setting, manage time effectively, and handle multiple orders.
- Collaborative mindset with good communication skills and the ability to support and guide kitchen team members.
- Prior experience as a chef or cook in a hotel or restaurant setting; continental specialty experience preferred.
- Relevant culinary training or certification from a recognized institute is beneficial.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by hotel operations.
