Role Description This is a full-time, in office Chef role based in Kharagpur. The Chef will plan and prepare daily menus, ensuring dishes are cooked to consistent standards and presented attractively.

Responsibilities include supervising kitchen staff, organizing food prep, managing stock levels, and coordinating with suppliers to maintain fresh inventory. The Chef will maintain strict hygiene and safety protocols, monitor food quality throughout service,



and adjust recipes or processes to meet guest preferences and dietary needs. The role also involves contributing to menu development, controlling food costs, and supporting smooth, efficient kitchen operations during peak hours.

Qualifications

- Strong culinary skills, including food preparation, cooking techniques, and plating.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and kitchen hygiene practices.
- Experience in menu planning, portion control, and basic cost management.
- Ability to lead and train kitchen staff, organize workflow, and manage time effectively.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience as a Chef or in a similar professional kitchen role; restaurant or hotel experience is an advantage.
- Relevant culinary certification or diploma is preferred but not mandatory.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by service needs.
