Job Overview

We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2–5 years of experience to manage and support financial, accounting, taxation, and compliance activities in the shipping/logistics industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, and MIS activities.
- Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform bank, ledger, vendor, customer, and inter-company reconciliations.
- Monitor accounts receivable/payable and cash-flow activities.
- Review shipping-related transactions, invoices, expenses, and revenue recognition.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks,



and regulatory authorities.
- Support internal and statutory audits and ensure timely closure of audit requirements.
- Analyze financial data and provide management with insights and variance reports.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax laws, and company policies.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and cost-control initiatives.

Candidate Profile

- CA Qualified with 2–5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in Shipping, Logistics, NVOCC, Freight Forwarding, or related industries preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Indian, International Accounting Standards, GST, TDS, and Income Tax.
- Valuable analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong command of MS Excel and accounting/ERP software.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and ownership.
