Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role based in Verna.

The Chartered

Accountant will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations. The role involves preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing statutory and tax compliances, and supporting internal and external audits.

Accountant will analyze financial data to provide insights on cost control, budgeting, and forecasting, and will support management with accurate, timely reports.



The role also includes implementing and improving financial controls, ensuring adherence to corporate policies and local regulations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as operations, procurement, and management.

Qualifications

- Professional accounting credentials, such as Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification, and a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, commerce, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and local tax and regulatory requirements relevant to manufacturing or industrial operations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, as well as solid skills in Microsoft Excel and other common office tools.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost accounting within a manufacturing or packaging workplace is highly beneficial.
- Ability to manage audits, implement internal controls, and ensure accuracy and compliance in all financial records and processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams on-site.
- Prior experience in a global or multi-location organization, and familiarity with CSR-related financial reporting, is an advantage.
