- Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Help patients with mobility, including transferring and walking
- Measure and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
- Serve meals and assist patients with feeding if needed
- Maintain cleanliness of patient rooms and equipment
- Observe and report any changes in patients’ conditions to the nursing staff
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
