THERAPY is Mumbai's offline antidote to burnout: an entertainment-first, all-day cocktail bar where people come to celebrate, cope, or simply breathe. We run outlets in Khar, Dadar, Borivali and Powai, and we're growing. THERAPY is operated by Rive Hospitality Private Limited, a founder-led hospitality group.

The role

THERAPY is setting up a central store in Powai that will buy for every outlet. We're hiring the person who runs it: an experienced F&B; purchase professional who puts our vendors on contract rates, brings costs down without lowering quality, and gets the right stock to every outlet on time. You'll build this function from the ground up and work directly with the founders.

What you'll do

Buying and vendors

- Own all purchasing for THERAPY's outlets liquor, meat and seafood, fruits and vegetables, dairy, dry store and provisions, bar consumables (mixers, syrups, coffee), housekeeping and cleaning supplies, packaging, uniforms and stationery.
- Find, evaluate and onboard vendors; collect competing quotations and negotiate hard but fair.
- Move key categories onto rate contracts with fixed prices, quality specs, delivery schedules and credit terms.
- Keep the vendor master complete and current: FSSAI licences, GST details, MSME status and agreements.
- Keep a backup vendor for every critical item, and build long-term relationships with the good ones.

Cost control and pricing strategy





- Track market prices daily for perishables and regularly for everything else; act fast when prices move.
- Combine demand across outlets to buy at volume rates; plan seasonal and forward buying where it saves money.
- Benchmark rates regularly, renegotiate, and report savings against a clear baseline.
- Work with our kitchen and bar teams on specs and alternatives that save cost without hurting the guest experience.
- Negotiate payment terms that help cash flow while staying within MSME payment rules.

Central store and inventory

- Run the Powai central store: receiving, quality and weight checks, storage, FIFO, cold chain and hygiene.
- Make sure every purchase follows our process, purchase order, then a goods received note entered the same day with the bill attached. No entry, no payment.
- Set par levels and reorder points; prevent stock-outs, overstocking, wastage and expiry.
- Run monthly stock counts and reconcile them with our F&B; controller.

Moving stock between outlets

- Consolidate outlet requisitions and plan efficient dispatch from Powai to every outlet — schedules, routes, vehicles and cold chain — so each outlet gets its stock on time and in full.
- Make sure every transfer,



central store to outlet or outlet to outlet, is logged in the system, so nothing moves off the books.

Systems and reporting

- Run purchasing and stores on our POS and inventory system (Rista): purchase orders, GRNs, indents and transfers.
- Monthly reporting: spend by category and vendor, price changes, savings delivered, stock levels, wastage and vendor performance.
- Write and follow SOPs; keep every record audit-ready.

Who you are

- 5–10 years in purchase or procurement for multi-outlet F&B; — restaurant chains, hotel groups, QSRs or cloud kitchens.
- A track record of cost savings you can show with numbers.
- A robust negotiator with an existing network of Mumbai F&B; vendors and wholesale markets.
- Hands-on with stores and inventory: GRNs, FIFO, par levels and stock counts.
- Working knowledge of FSSAI, GST and MSME payment rules.
- Comfortable with Excel or Google Sheets; experience with Rista or a similar POS and inventory system is a plus.
- Process-driven and audit-friendly and comfortable in a set-up where ordering, receiving and payment approval sit with different people.
- Able to reach Powai daily and start early on market days.
