Key Responsibilities

- System Installation &
- Setup:

Mount IP and analog cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and encoders in optimal locations.

- Network Integration &

- Configuration:

Configure IP addresses, subnets, routers, switches, and access points so cameras communicate reliably with recording servers.

- Cabling &

- Infrastructure:

Perform structured cabling, Cat5e/Cat6 termination, fiber optics, and rack dressing/organization.

- Remote Viewing &

- Storage:

Set up remote access via mobile apps and client software, and manage local or cloud video storage capacity.

- Troubleshooting &

- Maintenance:

Diagnose network drops, feed blackouts, camera faults, or VMS (Video Management System) errors.

- Client Handover &

- Documentation:

Test systems thoroughly, log IP maps/serial numbers, and train end-users on basic operation.





Required Skills &

- Qualifications

- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of TCP/IP, ONVIF, RTSP protocols, and VMS platforms.

- Hands-on Skills: Proficiency with crimping tools, punch-down tools, multimeters, and physical mounting equipment.

- Education: High school diploma, IT/Electronics trade certification, or a Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.

- Experience: Generally ranges from 0 to 3+ years for technician roles, or 5–10 years for senior/lead engineering roles.
