Role & responsibilities
- Oversee daily canteen operations, including food preparation, service, cleaning, and overall housekeeping.
- Identify capital requirements for kitchen equipment, appliances, infrastructure, and other canteen facilities.
- Ensure effective operations and timely food service to meet employee/customer requirements.
- Supervise kitchen, service, and housekeeping staff and allocate duties effectively.
- Prepare staff schedules and ensure adequate manpower availability.
- Prepare and monitor the canteen's operating budget and revenue requirements.
- Track food costs, consumption, wastage, and operational expenses.
- Ensure food quality, taste, freshness, nutritional standards, and portion sizes meet organizational requirements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable food safety and hygiene regulations
Preferred candidate profile Any Graduate. Experience in managing canteen in an industrial setup.
