Position: Cameraman / Video Journalist

About the Role

Aarambh News is looking for a skilled and responsible Cameraman with own qualified camera setup to cover news events, interviews, press conferences, field reports, and other assignments.

Key Responsibilities

- Cover news events, breaking news, interviews, press conferences, and outdoor assignments.
- Operate professional video cameras and related equipment effectively.
- Capture high-quality, stable and well-composed video footage.
- Coordinate with reporters and the editorial team during field assignments.
- Ensure proper audio, lighting, framing and camera settings.
- Transfer and organize footage properly after assignments.
- Be available for urgent/breaking-news coverage when required.
- Maintain and take proper care of camera and other equipment.
- Follow professional and ethical standards while covering news.





Required Skills & Qualifications

- Previous experience as a News Cameraman / Video Journalist preferred.
- Good knowledge of professional cameras, lenses, microphones, lights and accessories.
- Understanding of video composition, exposure, focus, white balance and audio recording.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to travel locally for news assignments.

Experience Preferred: 1–3 years of experience in news/media/video production.

Freshers with strong camera skills may also be considered.
