Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced CAD Engineer / Design Engineer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in CAD design and drafting. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in creating, modifying, and maintaining accurate 2D/3D CAD models and engineering drawings, along with a good understanding of engineering design principles and manufacturing requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Create and modify detailed 2D drawings and 3D CAD models based on engineering requirements.
- Develop accurate part, assembly, and manufacturing drawings using CAD software.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, dimensions, and design requirements.
- Prepare detailed drawings with appropriate GD&T;, tolerances, dimensions, and annotations.
- Make design modifications and revisions based on engineering and manufacturing feedback.
- Perform basic design calculations and ensure designs meet applicable engineering standards.
- Collaborate with Design, Manufacturing, Quality, Production, and Engineering teams.
- Maintain drawing/document revisions and ensure proper version control.
- Support prototype development, testing, and design validation activities.




- Identify and resolve design/drawing-related issues.
- Ensure CAD designs are practical from a manufacturing, assembly, and serviceability perspective.
- Prepare BOMs and other engineering documentation as required.
- Follow company drafting standards, design procedures, and quality requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s/Diploma degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of professional experience in CAD/design engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with 2D and 3D CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, Inventor, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T;, tolerances, fits, and manufacturing processes.
- Good knowledge of mechanical components, assemblies, and design principles.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications.
- Experience in creating production-ready drawings and 3D models.
- Positive understanding of DFM/DFA principles.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
