We are hiring an experienced Business Development Manager (Technical Sales) to drive business growth in the Railway Infrastructure sector across India.

The ideal candidate should possess deep technical knowledge of railway track construction, maintenance practices, track machinery, and railway technologies, along with an established network across Indian Railways, Metro Rail authorities, contractors, and system integrators.

This role involves extensive customer engagement, technical consultations, business development, tender support, and coordination with multiple stakeholders to drive sales and market growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify, develop, and qualify new business opportunities within the Railway sector.
- Build relationships with railway contractors, system integrators, and key end users.
- Engage with Indian Railways, Zonal Railways, Metro Rail Corporations, DFCCIL, NHSRCL, NCRTC, and other railway authorities.
- Gather market intelligence and identify upcoming project requirements.
- Drive service sales, spare parts sales, and after-sales business opportunities.
- Support existing customers in health certifications, maintenance support, and technical requirements.
- Coordinate and manage product trials, demonstrations, and pilot deployments.
- Work closely with railway authorities and contractors for machinery approvals and deployments.
- Provide technical support in collaboration with the service team.
- Conduct site visits and customer meetings across India.
- Participate in audits, technical discussions, and methodology reviews.
- Assess feasibility and deployment opportunities for new railway technologies and products.




- Deliver technical presentations to railway authorities, RDSO, contractors, consultants, and end users.
- Support preparation of tender documents, technical submissions, and bid documentation.

Required Skills & Experience
- 10-15 years of experience in Railway Business Development, Technical Sales, Track Machinery, or Track Management.
- Solid technical understanding of railway track construction and maintenance methodologies.
- Experience working with railway technologies, components, and infrastructure projects.
- Good understanding of railway approval processes and tendering procedures.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, tender documents, and engineering requirements.
- Experience working with international businesses and cross-functional global teams.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships across the railway ecosystem.

Mandatory Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- Strong technical knowledge of railway track technology and track maintenance practices.
- Understanding of railway business operations, approvals, and procurement processes.
- Experience with tender management, bid submissions, and technical documentation.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders, both domestic and international.
- Willingness to travel extensively (60-80% travel required).
